In our metallurgical lab in Gillette, our team of skilled engineers analyzes materials to best fit each application providing long service and high performance.
Currently, the L&H engineering team is working on a complex project in the rail industry that includes the complete reengineering and design of enhanced components of a bucket wheel loader used on a BNSF taconite facility in Allouez, WI. Our engineers continually deliver designs which will be used to enhance the major structures of the machine including the ladder boom, mast, gantry, lower and outer discharge booms and the rear mainframe as well as rebuild the mainframe, side frames and carbody.
The bucket wheel loader is expected to be fully assembled at the Gillette facility in the October / November timeframe.
